Bluffing strategies and tips for playing Texas two card hold'em poker: bluffing to set up the next win
bluffing to win
Bluffing is also an art of timing/placement at the table; and in this particular case: where you are bluffing to win: it is advisable to be the second or last player to be asked to bet, and have "something" in your hand; for instance: say a 56K is dealt; and nobody bets. the next card is a 3. Obvious straight if someone bets after that card is dealt: right? well that's what everyone else thinks as well, and if nobody has bet by the time it gets to you; then its a good chance nobody has a great hand. Note: that scenario is much more to the bluffer's favor; than if that 3 had been a 4 because sometimes people holding what is known as an "ignorant straight" (in this instance the ignorant straight would be 23 in the hole; with the 56k on the table) will be afraid to bet but they will stay in to the end; therefore causing your bluff to cost rather than profit.
it is better to try and bluff players who have exhibited a weak hand by checking, than to bluff those who have bet on the round before.
as mentioned earlier, but worth noting again; bluffing works best when there is an obvious "winning" hand showing on the table
If all of your opponents check on the previous betting round, it's a good opportunity to bluff. It's even better if they've all checked on an expensive betting round.
its very hard to bluff more than 2 people at a table at one time. 3 or more players still in ; you'll likely get called by one of them. when playing at a table of only 6 players; you can sometimes bluff 3 if conditions are right.
you don't always have to win the hand for a bluff to be successful; if it in turn keeps players calling you when you've got a good hand later down the line.
Try not to bluff beginners; they'll likely call you just to save face or because they don't know any better. Either way you're gonna lose if they have anything at all.
Card sharks are also a good group to avoid pulling a bluff on; they'll likely see thru your bluff and end up making you sorry you tried.

You can email me if you have a problem (Steve@ KCsod.com <- split to hide from robots) with a casino you signed to play from this site. I stand behind my players and I trust the casinos I have listed. I will always work feverishly to right any wrong done to one of my players. The casinos all know me well and I have good contacts at nearly all of them. If yours is a legitimate complaint, the casino in question will make it right or I will stop promoting them on my sites (of which are too many to list here, please see the links page which will be published sometime in the weeks to come).
