Golden Palace Poker is unique to US players because it is the only
Tribeca Table software open for US citizens. This poker room shares its database
with other poker rooms and currently about 90% of the traffic for real money
play goes toward the Hold'em games.
Golden Palace Poker has between 300 to 400 players during peak hours
at their real money tables and their tournaments during peak have at times,
close to a 1000 players. . They also offer Omaha High and Omaha High-Low.
There are both single- and multi-table tournaments.
The software which is by
Tribeca Tables, has decent graphics and is fairly competent. They have private
tables and a "buddy list" which is nice if you're always trying to find someone.
There is no "% to flop" and no ability to keep notes on your opponents, and
there is no hand history available at the time of this writing.
Golden Palace Poker does however have live floor managers which help
to keep confusion down to a minimum. The rake is average for the industry.
Golden Palace Poker does have a loyalty rewards system called
"action points", which can be traded in for a variety of things. The available
points from a raked pot will be split up to all participating players on a
pro-rated basis.
