Tips for playing Texas Two Card
hold'em Poker - all ins
All-ins: when you get down to the last
amount of chips for this example we'll use $2 on a $1-$2 table once you've
decided to play that hand instead of checking or calling I advise raising before
the flop. When you all-in your bet(s) are kept separate so that if you win
you get the amount that was in the pot .... up to the point you all-inned. Meaning
that if you've only $2 to play, you can choose to all-in before the flop, and every
bet that calls will go into your separate pot or you can wait until the first
bet is made and by then you will likely lose two or three calls because those
people will by then have seen the flop and decided to fold. Either way if you
want to play your hand you are going to end up putting all your chips into the pot.
So if you raised before the flop and there were 7 others calling you would have
had $21 possible to win.
If you had $2 and chose to call a $.50 bet rather than
raise you would enter the flop without enough money to start the next game
meaning you are already committed and by then lets say 2 more had dropped
out before you can even bet your remaining chips. You can see
where I'm going with that.
