I have included a couple of quick tips on bluffing below to get you started. tips on bluffing:- it is better to try and bluff players who have exhibited a weak hand by checking, than to bluff those who have bet on the round before. - Bluffing works best when there is an obvious "winning" hand showing on the table - If all of your opponents check on the previous betting round, it's a good opportunity to bluff. It's even better if they've all checked on an expensive betting round. - its very, very hard to bluff more than 2 people at a table at one time. 3 or more players still in ; you'll likely get called by one of them. when playing at a table of only 6 players; you can sometimes bluff 3 if conditions are right.` - you don't always have to win the hand for a bluff to be successful; if it in turn keeps players calling you when you've got a good hand later down the line. - Try not to bluff beginners; they'll likely call you just to save face or because they don't know any better. Either way you're gonna lose if they have anything at all. - Card sharks are also a good group to avoid pulling a bluff on; they'll likely see thru your bluff and end up making you sorry you tried. Everyone please note that recently I had a player contact me that he'd been locked out of his account at a poker room I promote. After several long hours we finally got a reply from the software providers that the account had been frozen due to an automated shut-down which could not be fixed until such a time as human hands were involved. Being in different parts of the world, we waited anxiously (or I did anyway, he's a big player and I can't say what he had invested, but I knew I stood to lose a $1000 per my guarantee) until the email arrived telling me all was fixed and well. The reason I mention this is so that it might forewarn everyone of the possibility this could happen; and that you should know that often these things happen because of fraud prevention programs built into the software, and when an account is frozen under such circumstances, it often takes a little time to clear things up because it involves contacting the parent software company to get things made right. Needless to say they aren't open 24/7 and though this time it was cleared up pretty fast, I can imagine there will be times when it might take longer and during this period everybody doesn't know what is going on, including the casino support people. Therefore they look like a bunch of dummies when you contact them which is not exactly reassuring. This is something that cannot be helped and is going to take a little while under the best of circumstances, so please be aware and try not to allow yourself undue worry if you should ever experience such a thing. This possibility should be posted on the casino and poker room websites but because its not all peaches and cream, they don't say a thing about it.
